AB was proud to work with Elmgreen & Dragset on Powerless Structures, Fig. 101, the bronze Rocking Horse sculpture commissioned for the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square. Playfully subverting traditional equestrian monuments, the piece depicts a young boy on a rocking horse, celebrating potential and future achievement rather than past military glory. Producing the sculpture required a combination of fabrication and casting to achieve the duo’s signature aesthetic, ensuring the work’s impact in one of London’s most iconic public spaces.
